Overview

Steve's Plumbing & A/C Service is seeking an experienced and result driven Senior Plumbing Service Manager to lead our team of technicians. This role will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians, overseeing operational duties, tracking sales, and ensuring that our services meet with the industry standards. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in the plumbing industry as well as management experience of a high-volume service department.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Team Management: Supervise and coach a team of Plumbing technicians. Regularly help train employees on technical and sales skills.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the service department, ensuring department projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Sales & Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance of team, identify opportunities for growth and areas needing improvement.
  • Customer relations:  Maintain good communication cross departmentally and with clients; Ensuring great customer service.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Project Manager: Plan, schedule, and manage plumbing projects, ensuring calls are completed to the highest standards.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Plumbing industry with a Management or Supervisory role
  • Proven track record of managing a high-volume service team
  • Strong understanding of Plumbing systems and codes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment

Pay Transparency:  

 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges around $100k-$125k annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience. 

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
  • May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
